“ONE-TO-ONE” resin can be used for silicone moldings, as protection for printed images, or to create decorative elements with encapsulation techniques.

It is ideal for film applications (1 mm) and moldings up to 2 cm thick. Its low viscosity reduces the presence of air bubbles after curing,

while its resistance to ambient humidity guarantees a glossy and transparent surface.

It is compatible with the main epoxy coloring pastes available on the market, allowing you to customize your creations.

In addition to its high transparency (water effect) and self-leveling properties, it guarantees good mechanical resistance for reinforcement and application with carbon fiber.

WHAT IS EPOXY RESIN?

Epoxy resins are thermosetting polymers made from monomers containing the three-membered epoxy ring.

This category of resins is the most widely used for the production of advanced composite materials, obtained by combining the resin with fibers.

Epoxy resins are glassy at room temperature and are then mixed with diluents to lower the viscosity to levels suitable for fiber impregnation.

The diluents are styrene monomer and styrene oxide.

The viscosity of an epoxy resin without diluent can vary greatly, from liquid to solid.

Most often, these resins are in the form of diepoxide, which is a linear chain of molecules at the end of which the epoxy groups (CH2-O – CH) with which the binders react during polymerization.

The ring assemblies help increase the rigidity and heat resistance of the resins. The polymerization process is very different from that of other resins; in fact, hardeners are used.

Epoxy resins have superior physical characteristics and shorter reaction times than polyesters and vinyl esters, but they are more expensive.
