Care instructions and warranty for products with polymer clay decor

Our handmade mugs, spoons, jars and other accessories with oven-bake polymer clay decor are created with attention to detail and designed for everyday use. To keep your polymer clay decor beautiful for as long as possible, we recommend following these simple care instructions.

How to care for polymer clay decor

• The polymer clay decor is securely attached with a strong two-component epoxy adhesive.
• The decor withstands temperatures up to 100°C. You can safely pour hot tea, coffee and other hot drinks into decorated mugs.
• Wash the изделие gently by hand using a soft sponge and regular dishwashing detergent.
• Do not soak mugs, spoons or jars in water for a long time.
• Do not wash products with polymer clay decor in the dishwasher.
• Do not heat decorated mugs or spoons in the microwave oven.
• If the decor becomes heavily soiled, it can be carefully cleaned with a soft toothbrush and a small amount of toothpaste.
• Avoid strong impacts, dropping the product or applying excessive pressure to the decorative elements.
• With proper care, polymer clay decor remains durable, water-resistant and suitable for everyday use for many years.

Warranty on handmade polymer clay decor

We provide a 1-year warranty on products with polymer clay decor purchased from Polymer Clay Latvia.

If you used the product carefully, but something happened to the decor — for example, part of the decoration detached from a mug, spoon or jar — please contact us within 1 year after purchase. We will evaluate the situation and inform you about the possibility of repair or restoration.

Whenever possible, we will repair or restore the decor to keep your handmade изделие beautiful and functional.
