Handmade silicone molds for your artwork.

We cast our molds by handmade techniques after your order, and it can take up to 3 business days, depending on the order queue. Some of the molds are also available in our local store in stock, but it`s better to order the needed mold in our online store before visiting our store. Therefore, you can be sure they will be available.

We use high-quality Italian non-toxic silicone with a platinum catalyst for our molds. This silicone is compatible with all types of gypsum, coatings, polyurethane resins, and acrylic resins, for various polymer clays (Sculpey, Fimo, Cernit, Pardo, Kato) and other polymeric types. Also for wax, soap, and other materials.

Silicone can withstand the following temperatures: minimum - 40°C (104°F), maximum + 200°C (392°F).

You can choose 4 kinds of silicone according to your needs with different hardness:

1) Blue color silicone. Silicone hardness 22 shA. The hardness of this silicone is the most comfortable of all for various materials. This silicone type may be also in white color.

2) Transparent silicone. Silicone hardness 10 or 24 shA. We choose the most appropriate silicone hardness for each mold depending on its size and depth. The deeper the silicone mold, the softer the silicone we use for it. The transparent molds are best for UV resin, epoxy resin, wax, and soap because you are able to see the air bubbles throw the silicone.

3) Orange silicone. Silicone hardness 10 shA. Good choice for big and deep molds or such materials like marshmallow air dry clay.

4) Red (terracotta) silicone. Silicone hardness 32 shA. Hard silicone.

The life cycle of a silicone mold when working with epoxy resin is about 25 uses (depending on the aggressiveness of the resin). After that, the silicone mold loses its properties and qualities. May start to tear.

Working with other, non-aggressive materials like clay, the life cycle of the mold is almost endless.

Working with polymer clay, in order to remove the finished detail from a deep mold, you can bake the silicone mold with a polymer in it in the oven. Silicone molds safely withstand up to 200°C (392°F). The baking temperature for polymer clay can be found on your polymer clay package. Also, you can freeze the mold with the polymer in it for 5-20 minutes in the freezer and then remove the detail. Use this tip for any berry mold from our store.

Thin shapes can be removed from the form by simply folding the shape.
