Dry pastels for unbaked polymer clay toning

Toison D'or dry pastels come in a range of 119 colors. The color range offers many earthy, muted shades of green, brown and beige.

You will also find many bright and saturated colors, including a wide selection of yellows, oranges, greens and reds.

The Pastels are made from the highest quality pure, finely ground, natural pigments based on calcium carbonate,

calcite and chalk, as well as binding agents.

Dry pastels are characterized by excellent blending ability and excellent color life.

These pastels have an incredibly smooth texture and are very fine, making them great to apply and easy to rub out.

The strokes on the paper are smooth, and the colors blend perfectly with each other.

The ability to spread the pigment is impressive, and the color blurs for quite a long time before disappearing completely,

creating smooth color transitions.

Dry pastels will be perfect for creating smooth backgrounds and spectacular gradients.

For drawing with pastels, we recommend using paper with a clear texture, as they only connect to the ground mechanically.

Pastels can be smeared with fingers or with a special pendant.

After drawing, the work should be protected with spray fixative, which prevents smudging of the drawing.

Each pastel has a numerical color designation, which makes it easy to identify them quickly.
